MPO Open House Tuesday, November 15 

The Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization wants to hear your ideas about the future of transportation in the region! The MPO invites you to its Open House on Tuesday, November 15. Two identical sessions will be held: 12-2 PM and 5-7 PM. Please read the attached press release and flyer for details. We hope to see you there!

SYSTEM LOOK LIKE IN 2030?
Your ideas will help guide the new long-range transportation plan for
the Boston region!

You are invited to the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning
Organization's to discuss the development of
Journey to 2030: The Transportation Plan of the Boston Region MPO

Tuesday, November 15, 2005
12:00-2:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM

MPO Conference Room, Suite 2150
State Transportation Building
10 Park Plaza, Boston, Massachusetts

Discussions will be held on the following Plan topics: policies and
principles, public involvement, projections of population and employment
in the region, and travel modeling, including the new Traffic Analysis
Zone system. The MPO is also seeking input on transportation needs in
the region.

The MPO Open House is an opportunity for citizens to share views on the
transportation network and learn about the work underway to identify
existing needs and forecast future travel demand in the region.

There will be two identical sessions, lunchtime and evening. MPO members
and staff will be in attendance to listen to your ideas and answer your
questions.
